21CSLA Guidance Document (March 2024)

The 21CSLA Cohort 2 Guidance Document addresses all eight Areas of Work included in the second cohort of the grant (2023–2026), as well as additional statewide projects commissioned by the State Agencies (California Department of Education, California Collective for Educational Efficacy, and the State Board of Education) related to Universal Transitional Kindergarten, Inquiry Now: Equity-Centered Instructional Leadership, and our research expansion. In the spirit of the three underlying principles of our project—equity leadership, continuous improvement, and professional learning—as well as feedback from the seven Regional Academies, the State Center continues the approach of issuing guidance rather than a template or a playbook.
