21CSLA Guidance Document (May 2023)

As our first year drew to a close in 2021, the 21st Century California School Leadership Academy (21CSLA) State Center co-constructed the Cohort 1 Guidance Document to create more cohesion across the professional learning approaches: Communities of Practice, Localized Professional Learning, and Leadership Coaching. With the same intention, we have expanded the 21CSLA Cohort 2 Guidance Document to include all eight areas of work. In the spirit of the three underlying principles of our project — equity leadership, continuous improvement, and professional learning — as well as feedback from the seven Regional Academies, the State Center continues the approach of issuing guidance rather than a template or a playbook.
